Who operates this service

Studdy Buddies is currently operated by an individual, not a registered business entity. Privacy questions and deletion requests may be sent to studdybuddiesadmin@gmail.com.

Information we collect

• Account information such as name, email, and confirmation that you agreed to these policies at signup.
• Course selections, lesson progress, practice scores, chapter-test scores, and saved preferences.
• Forum posts, replies, mentions, reports, warnings, and moderation status.
• Saved notifications.
• Technical identifiers and service logs produced by Firebase for security and operation.

How information is used

Information is used to authenticate accounts, save learning progress, personalize the website, provide community features, deliver notifications, prevent abuse, enforce community rules, and maintain security.

Storage and sharing

Studdy Buddies uses Google Firebase for authentication, database storage, and planned hosting. Private progress and settings are restricted to the signed-in user and authorized administrators. Forum names, posts, replies, and mentions are visible to signed-in community members. We do not sell personal information.

Retention, access, and deletion

Information is retained while an account is active or as reasonably needed for security and moderation. Users may request access, correction, or deletion by contacting the address above. Deletion requests are currently processed manually by an administrator rather than automatically, and are typically completed within a reasonable time after the request is received; some moderation and security records may be retained when reasonably necessary.

Security and changes

We use Firebase Authentication and database security rules, but no online service can guarantee perfect security. Material policy changes will be posted here with a revised effective date.
